This page provides descriptions of the main data discovery tools available through the AstroGrid workbench - accessed via the 'Data Discovery' tab on the workbench

• AstroScope : Search in all available image, catalogue and spectral archives by offset from user defined sky position or object name and region. Interoperate across VO tools to visualise, record and correlate multi archive returns.
• HelioScope : Search, record and visualise matches in all available solar archives by offset from user defined start and end times then explore multi archive returns across VO tools.
• TaskLauncher : Simple keyword search interface to pinpoint particular datasets and return summaries of coverage, depth and other information where available (e.g. UKIDSS, SDSS, 2XMM etc) or search for that useful astronomical tool you need (e.g. Sextractor). Then use the Parameter tab to build and launch individually tailored Queries.
