Helper Applications are client side tools that are used to visualise and analyse data. Clicking on an application icon in the Workbench Helper Application tab will open your web browser at the Homepage for that application (Note that browser settings may interfere with this - in this case use the Homepage links below).

Some of the Helper Applications can be launched with one click using Java Webstart - click on the Launch link below.

Thanks to PLASTIC, data can be exchanged between these applications. For example, a VOTable being viewed in Topcat can be passed to Aladin by choosing the 'Interop' tab in Tocat and selecting 'Send table to Aladin'.
