VOSpace
VOspace - Virtual file system for the IVOA
Overview
The VOSpace project is an IVOA project to develop a virtual file system for the VO.
The project aims to create a common service API which will
enable data storage and transfer between distributed filesystems within
the VO.
The core participants on the project are
- AstroGrid
- Caltech Center for Advanced Computing Research (CACR)
- European Southern Observatory (ESO)
- European Space Astronomy Center (ESAC)
The discussion and specifications for the VOSpace API are hosted on the IVOA website, as part of the Grid and WebServices project.

Implementation
The AstroGrid implementation of VOSpace is being developed in collaboration with ESAC.
